Behr recently crowned “Rumors” their color of the year for 2025. The brand says the “luxurious ruby red” adds warmth and rich allure, and we couldn’t agree more. We want to bathe in this lush, indulgent color, but the next best thing is decking ourselves out with it—starting with our nails. Luckily, Behr and Olive & June have collaborated to create the exact shade in nail polish as well as wall paint. Right now, the nail polish shade is only available through social giveaways, but we’re hoping it’ll soon be a mainstay on the site following its success. Rumors dials the red nail theory up a notch with a deeper hue of the hot color. According to a recent survey conducted by Behr, red enhances personal style. More than 60 percent of women agree that red walls inspire confidence in a similar way to wearing red nail polishes or dresses. The majority of Americans also agreed that they enjoy matching their personal fashion style and their home aesthetic—and this duo of wall and nail paint gives people the perfect opportunity to do so.
“We’re seeing people embrace color like never before,” Erika Woelfel, Vice President of Color and Creative Services at Behr, said in a press release. “Rumors is a modern take on the timeless red that creates an energetic appeal to make a lasting statement in a stunning way.”
