Revlon’s popular One-Step Volumizer ($35) is getting a mega makeover with the launch of its new and improved One Step Volumizer Plus 2.0 ($69), a sleeker, more gentle version of the OG. Also in the brand’s launch lineup: a styler for shorter stylers and bangs, known as One-Step Root Booster ($60).
The updated Volumizer tool may look similar to the original, but its new features are what make it stand out. With a new lighter feel, the dryer is easier to maneuver around the head. Also, it features a series of heat settings, including a medium setting that the brand says is more gentle on strands, as well as a ceramic coating to better distribute heat. To clean the product, the head is now easily removable, so your dryer not only lasts longer, but stays hygienic, too.
The new Root Booster is even lighter and easier to maneuver than the new Volumizer. With a smaller brush head, it’s able to get closer to the scalp to create volume and shape. Even if you have longer hair, you can use this tool to create more targeted, tighter curls or a more precise blowout. If you struggle to grab the flyaways around your scalp, this one is for you.
