Butter-yellow nails were a standout manicure trend this spring and summer, but if Rihanna has anything to say about it, they’re sticking around for fall, too. The 36-year-old singer and Fenty Beauty founder turned heads at the Fenty Hair launch at Selfridges in London on Monday, September 16, sporting a buttery hue on her nails to complement her custom, off-the-shoulder Jacquemus wrap coat, gold, pointy heels and dangling earrings.

Rihanna’s nail look was brought to life by celebrity manicurist Jenny Longworth. “Melted butter pastel yellow chromies for my @badgalriri at the @fentyhair Selfridges event last night,” she began her post’s caption. Luckily for us, she also revealed the exact shade she used: GelBottle Inc Gel Polish in the color Queen Bee ($19). But this wasn’t just your standard two coats of polish. According to Longworth’s Instagram caption, she layered the butter-yellow shade with The GelBottle Inc Iced Chrome Pigment ($14) and finished it off with the brand’s Extreme Shine Top Coat ($21) for “the ultimate finish.”
